In a day to day life we face many kinds of people, animal and things. We see people running for their job, walking their dogs, hanging out with friends or doing grocery shopping. We see many objects too, a coffee cup, someone’s earing, patio table or a trash can. We just see these things without thinking about them, without thinking about their origin point because our mind filters out such questions which are of no importance to us.

Even in our our home we are surrounded by a lot of objects but here we know their story, not exactly how they we created but from the point when they were bought to our house. You see a painting hanging on your living room wall and remember how lucky you were to found this masterpiece on an online sale or those cool sunglasses that you bought on a trip to beach. Some objects can be there without even buying, like weird looking pebbles, a unique branch and many more.

Everything have a story, even if you don’t remember all the details but when asked, you will start feeling the same emotions that you felt when you found that thing. Even for a split second, it will take you back to that day and time and you can basically see all that happening once again in your mind.

So here I am sitting on my desk and trying to find one random thing amidst of hundred with a really good background story. There are a lot of stuff but I know the most or remember the most about one particular object in this room. It is a dream catcher. Now one would ask what can be so great about a dream catcher. Well, it looks really beautiful with multicolored feathers(red, yellow, blue, purple, green) hanging from the ring which is also woven with same shades. It used to be hanging exactly over the centre of my bed’s headboard but now is kind of on the right side since I added a side table there.

What makes it really special is the story behind it. It was one sunny summer day, me and my friend planned for this picnic a week ago. We decided to do a barbeque and even found a perfect spot with lake view in a park. Everything was going well, forecast said it will sunny whole day and suddenly it started raining, pouring so hard that we had to rush to our cars, soaking really wet. Since we decided to spend the whole day together and we barely spent an hour together, we decided to go to Niagara, it was 45 minutes drive away and was supposed to sunny over there.

So we started our journey, from a rainy weather towards a sunny one. It was my, I think, 10th trip to Niagara, and I always do the cliche stuff, like going on the giant wheel, play mini golf etc etc. As soon as we reached there we went for the giant wheel of course. But after a while we started feeling cold because an hour ago we were soaking wet. The only solution came into mind was to grab a coffee and then to go to mini golf. But then, we were told that no food and beverages are allowed inside mini golf, and the coffee was too hot to finish it in a go. So for it to cool down we went into a nearby gift shop.

Inside the shop there were many things to look for, mugs, magnets, some unique showpieces, and much more. While browsing I came into a corner where a lot of different looking dreamcatchers were hanging. Most of them were more of a traditional looking ones, and then a very weird one, with many untraditional colored feather caught my eyes and I thought “It suits my personality so well”. Of course I had to buy it. And after that we did all the other stuff, played mini golf, went for go-kart, and many more. It was one of the happiest day of my life.

So in the end, the shape and size of that dreamcatcher is not what makes it special for me, its the story behind it which will always be memorable.
